Today is Scarlett's 3 month birthday.
I will now begin to fill you in on everything that Scarlett has experienced in the last month.
The highlight of her month was getting to meet her Aunt Rebekah, Uncle Grant, and Cousins Haakon and Marit. She just loved haveing them at our house for a week. She just stared at Haakon & Marit thinking they were the coolest kids ever and when she cried her uncle Grant knew just how to calm her...and most of all she loved all the cuddles and kisses from her Auntie Rebekah.
Ok, she also thought it was the funnest to be a flower girl in her other favorite Aunt & Uncle's wedding. She even got to walk down the isle with mom and dad and didn't fuss one bit! (some people say she stole the show! - sorry Sarah!) My sister Sarah married Peter Onstad on April 4th and was it ever a special day. They are now living happily ever after.
The saddest event in our lives was our Grandpa Ray passing away. He was loved more than you could ever imagine by everyone. We are so thankful that he was able to spend time with Scarlett and we think it's pretty special that she is named after him. We just thank God for all the wonderful years and memories we were able to have with him and one day we get to see him again in Heaven.
Scarlett has now completed her 2nd week of daycare. Yes, mom is now back to work. The transition is going better than I expected - since the expected was to cry ever day. It still is so hard to leave her when all I ever want to do is hold her and cuddle her up!Comments:Tanya M: We are so sorry to hear about your Grandpa Bridget, but you're right. One day you'll see him again in Heaven. And I know JUST WHAT YOU MEAN about daycare. I seriously cried everyday for the first month or so, and still randomly cry and I've been doing it for 8 months! I don't think that it ever gets easier to leave them, but it gives you something wonderful to look forwad to at the end of the day--picking them up! :)Add a comment:
